(sung to the tune of 12 days of Christmas!) Well, the fun has begun. Danny's sister, LaNae, arrived with her kids. Her husband had to stay behind for finals. They have a daughter 9 months younger than Annsley and a son 9 months younger than Seth and a 4 year old daughter. Our kids are best friends. They just moved to California this summer, so we have missed them. They home school also and we did tons of stuff (both homeschooling and other) together. It was great to overhear the kids quoting their Latin prayers together and playing fun silly games.
But, as boys are want to do, it got a little wild and Seth ended up splitting the back of his head open. It wasn't too bad, but we headed out to the emergency room and they were able to glue it instead of having to stitch it. Fortunately, we were in and out (a miracle, if you ask me) in less than a half hour. We were able to get back in time for Seth to join the slumber party at the Grandparents house. There was a rumor going around that the tooth fairy was going to pay a visit, so Seth really didn't want to miss it.
Danny's parents are so sweet. They are sending the LaNae and I on a shopping trip on Thursday and watching all 5 kids. They gave us some spending money for shopping and lunch. It will be a real treat for both of us!!
All this and the Seahawks won too!! Too much excitement for one day.

Ahh, yes,the glue! I, too, am famililar with that. :-) And an hour? Sounds as if you had the emergency room angels on your side.
Glad he is alright!!
Enjoy your outing on Thursday!
