Annsley: Yes, wor.
Mommy: How do you spell it?
Annsley: W-h-o-r-e
Mommy (looking quickly at Daddy):Um.....well...it's kind of like a bad lady.
Annsley: Oh
Mommy: Um, what book are you reading, honey?

Every once in a while one of the recommended history books gets by my pre-screening eyes. I know I can't keep these things from her forever, but I'd like to protect that innocence as long as possible.
